CURRENT PROGRESS: 15 pounds lost in 29 days.
That’s at a rate of .5172 pounds per day.
Projected weight loss over 180 days = 93.10 pounds.
Starting weight on July 5, 2017, was 281.2 pounds.
Day Twenty-nine: August 3, 2017 – This morning’s Weigh-in was 266.2 pounds and that’s a loss of 1.4 pounds since August 1.
This diet is pretty much becoming a habit. I’m eating fruit, bananas, and strawberries whenever I feel like a snack or maybe a carrot, but mostly I’m not feeling the need to snack. As I said in my previous post, I’m drinking a mix of lemon and lime water with black and green teas and that seems to be helping to assuage with my appetite. I’m eating 9 ounces of chicken breast per day with a mix of vegetables, acorn – yellow – spaghetti – and zucchini squashes, cabbage, carrots, onions, celery, broccoli, brussels sprouts, spinach and some fresh tomatoes from my tiny garden.
Today’s “Whine” is that I miss cheese, beans and rice, and tortillas. I miss soft tacos and fajitas, something we made quite often.
As of right now, the plan is to carry on with the Paleo Diet. It seems to be working as well as can be expected. At the current trend, I’ll reach 188.10 pounds on my Goal Date of January 3, 2018. That weight will still be 33.1 pounds short of my Goal Weight of 155 pounds, but it will be significant loss nonetheless. As of right now, I’m following the philosophy of not working out, no strenuous exercise until I’m light enough for it not to be damaging to my joints. I’m hoping that when I get to 200 pounds, I can begin some light exercise, maybe some mild cardio, that will increase my average loss per day. Having decided to run a marathon as a goal for next year, I need to find a training regimen and figure when to start. I’m going to reach out to Eddie Izzard to find out how he trained for a marathon that eventually led him to run 27 marathons in 27 days.
I really admire @eddieizzard for his physiological transformation from running.
