Projected weight loss over 180 days = 92.5 lbs.
Starting weight on July 5, 2017, was 281.2:
Day Fourteen: July 18, 2017 – This morning’s Weigh-in was 274 lbs, that is a gain of 1.2 lbs since July 16.
The past two days are disappointing. I’ve gained weight, but I haven’t varied from the Paleo menu at all as far as I can tell. I’ve had no sugars, no dairy, and no grains. I’ve limited my fats to olive oil, eaten only a few frozen vegetables and eaten far more fresh vegetables than I’ve ever eaten, and I love vegetables, and I’ve eaten lots of chicken. Beyond that, I’ve eaten blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. I’ve been drinking a lot of tea with lemon and vanilla in it, both black and green teas brewed together. If there is one thing I can point to that might be an issue, it’s that I sweeten my tea with Stevia and I’m drinking a lot of tea and most likely not enough un-infused water. But I can’t be sure.
Yesterday I snacked on Bananas, Blueberries, and Strawberries all day until dinner time. We had chicken breast sauteed in olive oil, no salt, served over/with an iceberg salad with shaved carrots, celery, cauliflower, green cabbage with a strawberry-blueberry vinegarette, no sugar added, using apple cider vinegar and olive oil for my wife, and my dressing was the same but with added pureed cucumber. I ate a large salad and had about 12 ounces of chicken.
I have to say that I’ve already had a period of two days, this past Friday and Saturday, that I only lost 2/10’s of a pound. ON Sunday I’d lost as much as to be expected in two days so far, which was almost two pounds. I’m hopeful that will happen again and that tomorrow morning I’ll weigh and see a significant loss. If not, I’ll keep going. I’ve lost 8.2 pounds in just 14 days. I’m still averaging more than a half pound of weight-loss per day. That would still put me at a 92 lbs lost by my goal date of January 3, 2018. Not too shabby.
